Job Overview
As an ABA/Autism Therapist with Key Autism Services, you'll have the opportunity to work with children and families in the Lilburn, GA area, providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and support. Our therapists work under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing customized treatment plans that are tailored to each client's needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in their homes or other settings
 - Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using this information to inform treatment plans and progress reports
 - Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support plans, and execute treatment plans developed by the BCBA Supervisor
 - Collaborate with the BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
 - Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors in a professional and timely manner
 - Maintain a high level of professionalism, arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions
 
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
 - At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
 - 1 year of ABA experience, or 1-2 years of experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
 - Auto insurance to travel between clients
 
Preferred qualifications include:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
 - Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
 - Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
As an ABA/Autism Therapist, you'll work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community locations. You'll need to be able to:
- Lift up to 35lbs
 - Perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills, such as bending, kneeling, and squatting
 - Sit on the floor or in a chair, or stand for periods of time
 - Respond quickly to the movements and behaviors of children
 - Work in both indoor and outdoor settings
