Job Overview: Autism/ABA Therapist & RBT Certification Assistance

As an Autism/ABA Therapist with Key Autism Services, you'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients in their homes, implementing ABA therapy programs designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). We're looking for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality services and are committed to ongoing learning and growth. If you're interested in becoming an RBT, we'll provide the 40-hour training course at no cost to you, and support you every step of the way to certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
  • Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain professionalism and a goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
  • 1-year experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
  • 1-year ABA/RBT Experience (or equivalent experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RBT certification
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Knowledge of Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plans

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
