Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Community Education program, including data entry, record keeping, and customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day office functions, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including participant information, program registrations, and financial transactions.
  • Support program staff with tasks such as preparing materials, coordinating events, and communicating with participants.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with program participants, staff, and community partners.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service practices, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information.
  • Utilize technology to streamline office operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student data in accordance with privacy laws and regulations.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in office procedures, customer service, and digital literacy.
  • Experience working in a continuous improvement learning environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Additional training in a two or four-year program.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and limited English proficiency individuals.
  • Advanced skills in digital literacy and technology applications.

Work Environment and Company Culture

Our typical workday is from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a .75 hour unpaid lunch break.
