About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote)

As a Preply English Tutor, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students worldwide on your own schedule and at your own price. You'll create engaging lesson plans, utilize Preply's integrated calendar to schedule lessons, and access training and professional development opportunities through our Tutor Academy and regular webinars. Your goal will be to make a meaningful impact on the lives of your students and help them achieve their language learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students globally, on your own schedule and at your own price
• Create personalized lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum for your lessons
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students
• Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of your students
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• A high-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• Familiarity with online language learning platforms and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
