Position Overview

As an Outbound Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for contacting members of various Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans by phone to offer, explain, and schedule a free in-home or virtual healthcare evaluation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact members of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans by phone to offer, explain, and schedule free in-home or virtual healthcare evaluations
  • Utilize persuasive communication skills to rebuttal and address member concerns while treating all health plan members with professional courtesy
  • Work in an efficient, results-oriented outbound call center environment with a focus on meeting and exceeding performance metrics
  • Adhere to a fixed daily schedule, including start, breaks, lunch, and end times, and be punctual and reliable in your attendance
  • Utilize strong computer skills to navigate multiple systems simultaneously while making calls, including our auto-dialer system and scripting software
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to share best practices, address challenges, and continuously improve performance and customer satisfaction

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our requirements. These include:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • 1+ year of call center experience OR 2+ years of general work experience required
  • Previous outbound call center or high-volume experience working in a metrics-driven environment, with an auto-dialer, and/or using scripts is preferred
  • A desire to work in an efficient, results-oriented outbound call center environment
  • Persuasive communication skills, with the ability to rebuttal and address customer concerns while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Good communication skills, with a friendly and conversational tone
  • Ability to adhere to a fixed daily schedule, including start, breaks, lunch, and end times
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to use multiple systems simultaneously while making calls

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related field
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans and their benefits
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other call center technologies
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations
