As a core member of our social media strategy and activation team, you'll play a critical role in driving paid social media campaigns for Walt Disney World and other Disney businesses.

About the Role & Team
Our in-house Trading Desk is responsible for managing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, and LinkedIn. As a Paid Social Media Manager, you'll report to the Manager, Social Media Strategy & Activation, and contribute to our Disney Vacation Club business and other lines of businesses. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, media partners, and agencies to develop and execute paid social media strategies that drive traffic, revenue, and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Social Campaign Management: Oversee campaign strategy, media budget management, campaign implementation, QA, ongoing optimization, and performance analysis.
- Strategic Input & Guidance: Provide strategic input and guidance to ensure client goals are met and exceeded.
- Campaign Implementation & Optimization: Implement, manage, and optimize paid social advertising campaigns that achieve business traffic and revenue goals.
- Tracking & Measurement: Ensure proper campaign setup to track performance in Adobe Analytics and paid social buying platforms.
- Strategy Proposals: Develop strategy proposals for new campaigns or account structures based on objectives provided by strategy partners.
- Team Efficiency & Innovation: Lead projects that improve team efficiency and identify opportunities for innovation in paid social media.
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner across teams, organizations, and companies to improve technical setup and inter-departmental workflow.
- Performance Insights & Recommendations: Present campaign performance and insights to key team members, providing actionable findings and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Testing & Optimization: Identify and implement new testing opportunities to evolve BAU campaigns or first-to-market alpha/beta tests that promote innovation.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Paid Social Media Experience: 3-5 years of paid social media experience, with 5 years of digital marketing experience in Travel and Entertainment (ideal).
- Digital Media Buying & Analysis: Extensive experience with social media advertising platforms, digital media buying, and related tools.
- Analytics & Measurement: Strong grasp of analytics, measurement, and proper test structures to coach the team on advanced analysis and testing.
- Work Management Platforms: Familiarity with work management platforms such as Workfront, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.
- Autonomy & Communication: Comfort with a high level of autonomy and ability to distill technical details into simple terms that motivate action.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Business, Social Media, Analytics, or Statistics.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the travel and entertainment industries is a plus.
