Partner Relations Consultant Support (non-retail) Seattle (Hybrid - U.S.)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Consult with Support (Non-Retail) leaders on partner (employee) relations-related questions and concerns that involve a high degree of complexity or risk to the business.
• Lead complex investigations of partner relations issues and concerns involving allegations where there is a high degree of complexity or risk to the business.
• Lead resolution of issues in accordance with Starbucks standards.
• Provide performance management consultation to ensure accurate interpretation of employment laws and regulations, and consistent development and delivery of corrective action.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with multiple Partner Resources teams and leadership teams in the Support (Non-Retail) organization.
• Identify, lead and/or participate in project work to ensure consistency across the organization and build leader capability in partner relations.
Requirements
• B.A. or B.S. in Business, Psychology, Education, Communication, or related field (closely-related human resources work experience or training may substitute for advanced education on a year-for-year basis).
• 6 years of increasingly responsible human resources generalist or related operations leadership experience with an emphasis on employee relations, including coaching/performance management, consultation, and performance development.
• 4 years of consulting with internal clients to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
Nice-to-haves
• HR Certification or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of human resources experience in a retail multi-unit environment.
• Proficiency with one or more human resources software platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc.).
• Experience using a case management (CRM) tool or suite of tools.
