Product Manager - Health Plans and Programs
About the position
- Responsibilities
- Develop, launch, and optimize a new product
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with market demands and compliance requirements
- Define and translate compliance and regulatory requirements into product requirements for engineering
- Prioritize product requirements and features on the backlog based on impact
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities as new requirements arise
- Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch
- Continuously measure and analyze product performance, gathering feedback for improvements
- Align stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, business operations, and sales
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure product usability, viability, and profitability
- Ensure product launch and subsequent releases adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the product evangelist, communicating the product to stakeholders at all levels
- Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience in health insurance and/or employer health benefits
- Domain experience in healthcare delivery, health plan design, health plan revenue cycle management, or health payor tech stack
- Proven track record of developing healthcare/health tech products adhering to industry mandates like HIPAA
- Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, ProductBoard, Monday)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product development best practices
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
