About the Role
As a Customer Engineer III, Security, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption of blithequark's cloud products and solutions by leading companies. Your expertise in cloud native architecture, cybersecurity, and customer-facing roles will enable you to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing management, and engineering, to stay abreast of industry trends and develop enhancements to our cloud products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical security and compliance blockers.
 - Share knowledge in security, privacy, and regulatory compliance to support the technical relationship with customers, technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to blithequark's cloud products.
 - Work with blithequark's cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
 - Contribute to programs in areas of security, privacy, and compliance with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Legal, and Policy), and drive enablement internally to create customer best practices.
 - Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed, acting as a public advocate for blithequark.
 
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
 - 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture and cybersecurity in a customer-facing or support role.
 - 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, fraud, or cloud native architectures in a customer-facing role (e.g., threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems) or fraud.
 - Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
 
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the minimum qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be advantageous:
- Cloud or Security industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP).
 - Experience implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems) or fraud solutions for enterprises (e.g., account takeover prevention, payment fraud prevention, or other types of automated fraud).
 - Experience in software development, developing numerous web-based applications.
 - Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity or fraud industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, OWASP, etc.).
 - Excellent problem-solving, verbal, written communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation package for this role includes a competitive base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$214,000, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes:
