Job Summary
The Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics will be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, data analysis, and leadership, with the ability to drive strategic decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, 8-hour per day position, with a competitive salary of $24 per hour, located in San Bruno, USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and evading termination
 - Develop and implement strategies to detect and prevent adversarial abuse, using data-driven insights and analytics
 - Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe malicious behavior
 - Deliver effective and efficient operational performance, including quality, service levels, and talent management, in a global team working 24x7
 - Manage accelerations with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and implementing policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners
 - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the threat landscape, including new and emerging trends, such as generative AI
 
Essential Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics
 - At least 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting, and building/deploying analytical models
 - At least 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that shape data infrastructure and ML models
 - At least 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require
 
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A postgraduate degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics
 - Experience in investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
 - Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities
 - Knowledge of SQL, R, or Matlab
 - Excellent influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
 - Strong business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action
