Schedule and Work Arrangements
As a part-time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at Blithequark, you can expect:
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 34 hours per week
- Flexible work hours between 8am - 4:30pm CST
- Fully remote work arrangement
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
- Expeditiously and efficiently entering data to meet client turnaround times
- Navigating efficiently and effectively through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
- Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
- Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
- Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
Additional Responsibilities
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may also be required to:
- Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
- Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
- Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate
Requirements and Qualifications
To be a strong candidate for this role at Blithequark, you should possess:
Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Level of Experience
- 6 months or more of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong data entry/typing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High degree of accuracy
Assessment and Evaluation
If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. The assessment will evaluate your typing skills and accuracy, with a minimum requirement of 8,200 KSPH and a 98% accuracy rate.
