Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process shipments, verifying delivered items against orders and invoices.
  • Pack or unpack a variety of items into or from cartons, boxes, or similar containers as requested.
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged and match the order.
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices, checking for quantity, quality, and price accuracy.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to your supervisor.
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
  • Ensure invoices are signed and processed for satisfactory deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
  • Pick up parcels from local stores as needed.
  • Prepare packages for shipping, including completing required paperwork and printing shipping labels.

Essential Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
