About the Role

The Customer Service Advisor position is a critical component of our customer support team, responsible for providing top-notch service and resolving customer inquiries via various channels, including inbound and outbound calls, and internet interactions. As a Customer Service Advisor at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service that meets or exceeds contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and utilize decision-support tools to provide effective resolutions
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns, demonstrate empathy, and build rapport to create a positive experience
  • Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, adhering to established procedures
  • Maintain a basic understanding of client products and/or services to provide accurate information and support
  • Prepare complete and accurate work, including notating accounts as required, and track customer interactions in our call tracking database
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance, and offer additional products and/or services as needed
  • Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff when necessary

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma, with three to six months of relevant customer service experience preferred
  • A courteous and customer-centric approach, with a strong orientation towards delivering exceptional service
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with the ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
  • Dependability and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A patient and professional demeanor, maintaining a pleasant tone and manner in all customer interactions
  • Flexibility to rotate shifts as needed, and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
