About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members and providers, handling their inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or written correspondence. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls from members and providers regarding claims status, benefits, and eligibility, PPO participation, and other related inquiries
  • Maintain department-established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and apply blithequark's core values in day-to-day operations
  • Demonstrate service discipline, handling service challenges, and providing solutions to constituent needs
  • Work across boundaries to resolve customer issues, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a production environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Call center experience, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance concepts
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
