The Opportunity: Chat Support Specialist
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chat Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Chat Support Specialist, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing personalized support to our customers through our LiveEngage platform. This is a unique chance to be part of a pioneering company that's changing the vision care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 2-3 incoming chats simultaneously using our LiveEngage platform, ensuring timely and effective responses.
 - Consult with customers to enhance their contact lens purchase experience, providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
 - Proactively engage with your manager and team members in a virtual environment, participating in one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and chats to ensure success.
 - Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, resolving issues and creating positive experiences.
 - Maintain high performance metrics, including revenue per call, quality, availability, and dependability.

Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
 - Minimum 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a chat or call center environment.
 - Excellent typing skills (at least 40 words per minute) and technical proficiency.
 - Reliable internet connection (20 mbps download and 10 mbps upload or better) and a dedicated, private workspace.
 - Positive, driven, and solution-oriented mentality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
 - Ability to work scheduled shifts, including required weekend shifts.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a vision care or healthcare-related industry.
 - Familiarity with customer service software and technology, such as LiveEngage or LivePerson.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret customer data and feedback.
 
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and team members effectively.
 - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a customer-centric approach.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and customer needs.
 - Technical proficiency and comfort with using software and technology to manage customer interactions.
