Job Overview
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling all tasks related to customer service and sales in a courteous, empathetic, and professional manner. You will use independent judgment and discretion when interacting with customers, providing them with pricing, delivery, and product information, and responding to their inquiries and concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Offer customers pricing, delivery, and product information, and respond to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
 - Monitor and address commercial requirements on customers' portals, and forward quality and technical needs to the appropriate department.
 - Make and receive phone calls that are non-routine and may require deviation from standard procedures, using your judgment and discretion to resolve issues.
 - Address customer questions, comments, or complaints while adhering to established guidelines, and prepare responses to customers in the required format.
 - Serve as a liaison between customers and various departments within blithequark, maintaining effective and professional relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
 - Maintain records and assist in preparing required reports, ensuring that output generally meets or exceeds expectations.
 - Act as the company contact for customer returned Airborne/Warranty parts, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
 - Provide back-up relief for the company's receptionist and alternate coverage for job duties when other departmental co-workers are not present.
 - Complete tasks promptly, ensuring that work is accurate and rarely contains errors, and conduct yourself in a business-like and respectful manner.
 - Adapt productively to changes and perform other essential tasks as assigned, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
 - Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests, and process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
 - Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items, and provide timely feedback to blithequark regarding service failures or customer concerns.
 - Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer's service expectations, maintaining a sound working knowledge of all markets and product conditions.
 - Notify and assist buyers, operations, and sales support persons by communicating customer's needs and preferences, and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
 - Organize and provide assistance for special sales, promotions, seasonal items, and other events as needed.
 
Essential Qualifications
- Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
 - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers and customers.
 - Ability to interact effectively with various interrelated departments, and gain extensive knowledge of blithequark's product lines and applications.
 - Possess effective time management skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
 - Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, and possess the availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent blithequark.
 - Ability to sit for extended periods in front of a computer, and work in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

- Experience in the Manufacturing or Aerospace industry, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
 - Previous experience in a remote or virtual work environment, with a proven track record of success in a customer-facing role.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation.
