Job Opportunity: Temporary Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Temporary Data Entry Clerks. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and contribute! This role offers potential for future assignments, providing flexibility and possible long-term opportunities. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll collaborate with our internal data management team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry.

Schedule

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability. The expected schedule includes:

  • Fridays (once a month)
  • Saturdays (2-3 times a month)
  • Times to be determined (subject to change)

Location

This position is based at our headquarters in Palmetto, FL (not remote). We're looking for individuals who are able to work in a team environment and are willing to learn and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Transfer data from paper formats collected during events into our database using a laptop and mouse.
  • Data Interpretation: Accurately interpret and input handwritten information into our database.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing with source documents.
  • Data Maintenance: Update and maintain existing data records.
  • Organization: Organize and file paperwork after data entry to ensure nothing is misplaced.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist with other tasks as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with office equipment and basic computer skills.
  • Typing Skills: Ability to type quickly and accurately (40-45 words per minute with 80-90% accuracy).
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail is a must.
  • Database Understanding: Basic understanding of databases.
  • Communication Skills: Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous Data Entry Experience: Previous experience in data entry is a plus.
