As a Remote Part-Time Customer Service Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our customer service team, working closely with both internal and external customers to ensure high-quality service. This role involves handling inbound and outbound telephone calls, resolving customer issues, and identifying opportunities to enhance our customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with customers daily to sustain and improve business relationships, ensuring a high-quality customer service experience.
- Utilize fact-finding sales methods to customize blithequark programs and services to meet customer needs and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure accurate account setup, maintenance, and closure of all customer account information.
- Handle customer issues by following our customer complaint resolution policy, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Perform soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due, and handle cash transactions as required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, with typing and data entry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Authorization to work in the United States, either as a Citizen, National, or lawful permanent resident, or having valid work authorization.
Preferred Remote Qualifications:
- A Windows 10 computer or higher operating system, or an Apple computer with at least 14.0 (High Sierra OS).
- A computer with 8GB of RAM (16GB preferred) and a hard-wired connection to the modem.
- Minimum cable or DSL speeds of 100MB with 10MB upload speed.
- Avoidance of hotspots from any internet provider due to stability concerns.
- The use of dual monitors is preferred but not required.
