As a Customer Service Specialist in our Service Desk Team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional support to our financial professionals and clients. Your expertise and service will be pivotal in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our clients as they navigate various wealth management topics, from new account setups and asset transfers to complex inquiries about our brokerage and advisory platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely support via phone, email, and chat to financial professionals and clients, addressing a wide range of wealth management inquiries and issues.
 - Utilize your knowledge and expertise to guide clients through processes such as new account setups, transfer of assets, and navigating our financial products and services, including mutual funds, annuities, stocks, and bonds.
 - Review documents submitted for processing, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and provide clear instructions to clients and financial professionals as needed.
 - Navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously to manage call flow and provide a best-in-class service experience, adhering to established procedures and quality standards.
 - Verify caller identities and obtain necessary information to ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
 - Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately in our tracking system, ensuring timely and effective follow-up.
 - Meet and exceed individual and team performance metrics, including quality and customer survey goals, while maintaining a flexible and positive attitude.
 - Act as a change agent by proactively seeking process improvements and challenging the status quo to enhance our service delivery and operational efficiency.
 
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a high-touch service or operations environment, preferably in financial services or a related field.
 - A college degree or relevant work experience that demonstrates your ability to handle complex customer inquiries and multitask effectively.
 - Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a keen sense of accountability and a customer-centric approach.
 - Proficiency in computer systems and keyboarding skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
 - A positive and flexible attitude, with a dedication to providing superior customer service in a team environment.
 - Ability to work remotely with access to high-speed internet services.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance, retirement, and/or wealth management products and services.
 - A securities license (Series 7 or 63) or willingness to obtain one.
 - Experience with wealth management platforms and tools.
