Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address a range of topics, from product inquiries to issue resolution.
- Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution.
- Utilize active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and Team Members alike, operating with understanding and a customer-centric mindset.
- Collaborate with teammates, direct Managers, and other team members across multiple levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools to contribute to a culture of collaboration and customer-centricity.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to change, and grow with the business needs of the company.
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening), demonstrated through a written assessment.
- Ability to multi-task, perform well under pressure, and navigate multiple systems and tools simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using computers, data entry, and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to support customers.
- Flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed by the business unit.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- A passion for pets and a genuine desire to help pet owners.
- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
- Familiarity with customer service software and technology.
Technical Requirements
- A dedicated workspace with a reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10 Mbps+ upload speed).
- A work area that is free from distractions and background noise.
- A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam will be provided by blithequark.
- A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify.
