**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Full-Time Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional member service via phone, email, and online chat, responding to financial inquiries and resolving member issues in a timely and professional manner
* Uncovering opportunities to recommend financial solutions that help maintain the member's relationship with the credit union
* Assisting members with service requests and providing solutions on a variety of financial accounts
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including preparing and inspecting documents
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex member issues and improve overall member experience
* Staying up-to-date on product knowledge, policies, and procedures to provide informed solutions to members
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a financial institution or related industry
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex member issues and develop effective solutions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a non-member facing call center environment
* Knowledge of financial products and services, including credit cards, loans, and deposit accounts
* Familiarity with online chat platforms and software
* Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. CFP, CFA)
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish, for example)
