The Role: Patient Engagement Specialist
As a Patient Engagement Specialist, you'll serve as the first point of contact for our patients and caregivers, providing a white-glove experience that sets the tone for their journey with Rippl. You'll be responsible for patient engagement, outreach, and acceptance of care, working closely with our Care Team to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging, personalized experiences for patients and caregivers, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their onboarding journey.
 - Effectively communicating Rippl's services and value proposition to seniors and their families, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
 - Engaging with new patients to facilitate acceptance of care and scheduling their first appointments with our Care Team.
 - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient demographics in our CRM/EHR system, ensuring seamless data management and care coordination.
 - Collaborating with our Care Team to ensure newly onboarded patients are assigned to the appropriate Care Pods and receive comprehensive care.
 - Ensuring required onboarding paperwork is completed and obtaining necessary medical documents from healthcare providers to inform our Care Team.
 - Meeting quality, productivity, and acceptance rate performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
 - Performing administrative duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving needs.
 
Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a compassionate, experienced Patient Engagement Specialist who is passionate about working with seniors and their families. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A passion for working with seniors, their families, and caregivers, with a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
 - 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment, with a background in patient outreach, engagement, intake, medical reception, and/or customer service.
 - Proficiency in various systems, including Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena (EHR), and cloud-based telephony systems.
 - Knowledge of medical and behavioral health terminology, with the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.
 - Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with a talent for building strong relationships.
 - Comfort in a high-speed, ever-changing start-up environment, with the ability to adapt to evolving needs and priorities.
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
 - Access to high-speed, reliable internet and a secure, private workspace conducive to confidentiality.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:
- Experience working in senior-focused healthcare organizations or mental health settings.
 - Background in care coordination, patient navigation, or related fields.
 - Familiarity with CRM/EHR systems and healthcare technology.
