Our comprehensive approach combines therapy and medication to help individuals regain control of their lives. We're now seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (APRN) to join our team on a remote basis, with a requirement to work at least 5 hours per week in one of our Indiana locations.
About Our MAT Program
Our MAT program is designed to provide a holistic treatment experience, leveraging a combination of group counseling sessions and medication management. Our specialized counseling staff lead group sessions, while our medical providers participate by addressing patient queries and managing medication dosing. This collaborative approach ensures that our patients receive comprehensive care, addressing both their physical and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting intakes, working closely with our counseling staff to ensure seamless patient onboarding.
 - Monitor patients' clinical progress during regular group counseling sessions, providing expert medical guidance and support.
 - Authorize patient prescriptions during monthly visits, utilizing our technology-driven clinical system to streamline the process.
 - Maintain accurate and timely records within our EMR system, adhering to our strict clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
 - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in MAT and SUD treatment.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- Active, Unencumbered State License (NP/APRN) in Indiana, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
 - Active, Individual DEA with an address listed in Indiana. If you plan to prescribe in multiple states, you'll need a separate DEA registration for each state.
 - DEAX designation or 8hr Qualified Training as required by SAMHSA for prescribing Buprenorphine, showcasing your ability to safely and effectively manage MAT treatment.
 - Proof of Active Board Certification (NP/APRN; any specialty), highlighting your dedication to staying current with industry developments and best practices.
 - Ability to work in one of our Indiana locations at least 5 hours per week, ensuring that you can collaborate with our team and deliver in-person care to our patients.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience prescribing in the MAT/SUD space, demonstrating your familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.
 - Indirect or relative experience in MAT/SUD treatment, showcasing your potential to adapt to our program and make a meaningful contribution.
