Key Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer support through telephone sales, online support via Live Chat and E-Mail, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Selling extended service protection plans and product installations on selected merchandise, while meeting sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Offering excellent customer support to customers who have purchased items, responding to their queries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reviewing online orders to provide online fraud protection, ensuring that all transactions are secure and compliant with company policies.
  • Tracking and expediting orders on a daily basis, ensuring that customers receive their products in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Directing customers to product information resources, including those available on the Internet, to enable them to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Gaining knowledge of current and new products, with the ability to communicate their features and benefits to customers, and providing product recommendations.
  • Attending product and sales training meetings as requested by sales management, to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Seasonal Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need:

  • No degree required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Entry-level experience in customer service or sales, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer and phone skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • A flexible schedule, with availability to work one weekend day per week, starting in September and ending in January.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices, with experience in selling products or services.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues.
