**About the Role**
As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for providing a range of routine customer service and support to agents and carriers over the phone, through email or chat. You will work closely with team members and collaborate with other departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing a positive and service-oriented attitude when answering incoming phone calls
* Delivering a high level of customer satisfaction with the goal of creating an exceptional experience
* Maintaining a continual working knowledge of our client's products, services, and promotions
* Delivering service utilizing prescribed standards to supply accurate information to callers and resolve their issues
* Researching, resolving, and communicating information back to the customer in a clear and educated manner
* Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
* Completing a variety of forms and documents based on guidelines
* Documenting all customer information, communications, and sales in our CRM system
* Reviewing and processing applications, binders, and other documents required for policy issuance
* Processing policy endorsements, sending time-sensitive policy documents, handling various agent and carrier requests
* Assisting with creating and updating various processes
* Organizing policy files for proper documentation management
* Working collaboratively with other team members and across departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
* Providing excellent customer service internally and externally
* Other responsibilities as assigned
**Shift Requirements**
The shift requirements for this role are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST. We offer a hybrid work option, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
**What We Look For**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* High school graduate or equivalent education
* 1+ years of customer service experience, handling high volume phone calls
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to receive and make calls with confidence
* Strong organizational and desk management skills
* Strong multi-tasking abilities
* Ability to be a team player collaborating with customers and others within the organization
* Detail-oriented to complete tasks accurately
* Strong work ethic and time management skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based programs, and comfortable learning new software
