About the Role

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide them with a distinctive and delightful experience. You'll be working on the frontline, interacting with customers, answering their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring that they leave the store satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale and suggesting trade-up and companion items.
• Operate the assigned cash register, process transactions, handle returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays, and ensure compliance with company asset protection procedures.
• Implement visual merchandising strategies, including constructing and maintaining displays, completing resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise, and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service in specialized areas, such as the photo department, and assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders and delivering products to customers.
• Maintain a working knowledge of store systems and equipment, and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
