Key Responsibilities

  • Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely and effective manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring that critical documents are processed promptly.
  • Clarify orders as needed, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems as necessary, ensuring that client information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the profession.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy environment, where you have developed a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and patient care.
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • LTC pharmacy experience, where you have developed a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of long-term care patients.
  • Frameworks / ECM knowledge, which can be beneficial in managing complex documents and workflows.
