About the Role
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional support to our customers. As a Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for learning our software product, answering support questions, and helping to maintain our help center documentation. You will also have the opportunity to test our product and report any issues you find, which will help you get familiar with our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the software product and start answering support questions in a timely and professional manner
- Help write and maintain the help center documentation to ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly
- Test the product and report any issues you find, providing detailed feedback to our development team
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and efficient manner
- Collaborate with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Fluent, native-like English is essential, as you will be writing to customers and creating documentation in English
- Familiarity with software products, web hosting products, and preferably online course platforms is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of how DNS works, including familiarity with setting up DNS for a website using CNAME and CAA DNS records, is a significant plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer support, particularly in the online course or software industry, is an asset
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using various software applications and tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Competitive monthly salary of $300, negotiable based on experience
- Full-time job as a freelancer, with the flexibility to work from home and set your own schedule
- Payment via wire transfer or Upwork Direct contracts
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work in your own timezone (note: you will need to be available for work from December 22nd to the first week of January, and from mid-July to mid-August)
- 20 days of leave per year, in addition to the flexibility to take time off as needed
