Job Summary: Customer Support Representative

We're seeking a fully-remote Customer Support Representative to join our team. As a Customer Support Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of blithequark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide live customer support to contest entrants via email and live chat features using Zendesk and Intercom
• Handle support requests and escalate them to the appropriate parties as needed
• Monitor for critical site issues and escalate to the proper channels to ensure a speedy resolution
• Resolve bet and contest inquiries regarding sporting rules, account, and billing inquiries from users
• Address requests such as verifying user identities during sign-up, gameplay questions, the status of withdrawals, and more

Essential Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer support or operations role, preferably in sports, tech, or a start-up environment
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for sports, sports gaming, and technology
• Experience working with Customer Support tools like Zendesk and Intercom
• Outstanding written communication skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Strong internet connection and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of online gaming fraud, payments, gaming tools, systems, and reports

The target compensation for this role is $15/hr or state minimum wage, should the state minimum wage be higher than $15/hr. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
