About the Role

As a temporary Customer Service Home Agent at blithequark, you'll be the friendly voice welcoming customers, placing orders, and answering questions – all from the comfort of your home office in Maine. You'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that every interaction with our brand is legendary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer orders, answer questions, and provide product information.
  • Utilize our systems and software to access customer information, process orders, and manage customer interactions.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • An interest in providing excellent customer service and a passion for the outdoors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • The ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing processes.
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace in your Maine home, free from distractions and interruptions.
  • A tech-savvy spirit with a computer, internet, and webcam that meet our requirements (details below).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
  • Familiarity with outdoor products or services.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless and secure experience, your home office must meet the following technical requirements:

  • A computer and internet service that meet our system requirements:
    • Windows or Mac only (Chromebooks/Chromium and other operating systems are not compatible).
    • Windows 10 or above (Windows S mode is not compatible).
    • For Mac: macOS Monterey 12.6.8, macOS Ventura 13.5.1, or macOS Sonoma 14.5.
    • 8 GB of RAM minimum, 16 GB preferred.
  • Broadband internet with minimum acceptable speeds:
    • Download – 25 Mbps.
    • Upload – 5 Mbps.
  • A modem/router with an available port for the phone connection.
  • A separate workspace with a desk and chair that allows for safe and comfortable working.
