Key Responsibilities

  • Moderate Online Forum Discussions: Monitor and moderate online forum discussions to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines. Review new posts and comments, take appropriate action when necessary, and maintain a positive and productive community.
  • Respond to Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Provide accurate and helpful information, communicate clearly and effectively in writing, and handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive user experience. Be friendly, helpful, and patient, even when dealing with difficult or frustrated users. De-escalate tense situations and find mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Escalate Complex Issues: Escalate complex issues to senior moderators or management as needed. Collaborate with the team to find the best solutions for complex issues and ensure that all users have a positive experience on the platform.
  • Maintain Professionalism and Positivity: Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times. Remain calm and focused when dealing with difficult or frustrated users, handle criticism and feedback gracefully, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions. Analyze data and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and communicate ideas and recommendations clearly and persuasively to the team and management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Excellent Written Communication Skills: Possess exceptional written communication skills in English, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to write concisely and clearly.
  • Independent and Team Work: Demonstrate the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively with team members, taking ownership of responsibilities and contributing to shared objectives.
  • Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling a high volume of inquiries and posts, and possess strong organizational skills to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Online Forums and Social Media: Be familiar with online forums and social media platforms, and comfortable navigating these platforms and understanding their features and functions.
  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Exhibit strong multitasking abilities and effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely responses to all inquiries.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations, remaining composed and focused during challenging situations.
  • Flexible Availability: Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure that all inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Moderation Experience: Previous experience as a moderator or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Ecommerce Industry: Knowledge of the ecommerce industry and chat support solutions is an asset.
