As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic team that strives to create an exceptional experience for our students, faculty, and guests. **Job Summary** As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include: **Key Responsibilities** * Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere * Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas * Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash, equipment, and laundry * Participate in special event set-up and operations * Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies * Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building * Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery **Essential Qualifications** * Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications (or obtained within the first 30 days of employment) * BBP Certification (obtained within the first 30 days of employment) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment * Experience working in a recreational or fitness setting * Knowledge of facility management principles and practices * Certification in customer service or a related field * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive experience * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * Strong organizational and time management skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Student Customer Service Coordinator at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
