At Author by Humana, we are on a mission to improve health outcomes for our Seniors (65 ) and help them lead a fulfilling life.About the RoleThe Lead Scrum Master will lead the team in the development of working software. In particular, this position will lead the interoperability team that is responsible for the delivery of the interoperability layer between Humana, Author by Humana, and vendors to seamlessly integrate all functional data that is viewed by Associates and Members. This role requires frequent collaboration with multiple Humana IT teams and communications with individuals ranging from Developers to CTO. This position regularly informs, updates, and negotiates with technology and operations leadership to determine actionable prioritization of requests for work. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: establishing Scrum processes; scheduling and sequencing decisions for all work; dependency resolution for all integrated work; determining available capacity plan for new development work; managing quality and delivery metrics for vended teams; supporting solution delivery timelines; managing the integration of incident management with new development timelines; etc.The Lead Scrum Master leads teams through work actions that can be completed within timeboxed iterations called sprints and tracks progress through 15-minute stand-up meetings. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
