Part-time Remote IP Paralegal
                                Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, particularly intellectual property, and will be responsible for supporting attorneys in managing cases related to patents, trademarks, and copyrights. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This is a remote, flexible position ideal for a candidate with experience in U.S. IP prosecution.

Responsibilities
• Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of intellectual property applications, including patents and trademarks.
• Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications, Statements of Use, renewals, and other TEAS filings
• Assist with U.S. patent applications (provisional and non-provisional), IDS forms, and assignments
• Track USPTO deadlines and manage an IP docketing system
• Format and proofread claims, specifications, and legal correspondence
• Monitor filings through TSDR and Patent Center and generate status reports
• Provide light administrative and billing support (e.g., document management, calendaring, and client follow-ups)
• Conduct thorough legal research using various reserach tools
• Manage legal case files and documentation through effective document management systems.
• Perform document review and legal drafting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
• Maintain organized records of all correspondence and documentation related to cases.
• Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and transcribing notes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Participate in interviews with clients to gather necessary information for case preparation.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in U.S. trademark and/or patent prosecution preferred
• Strong familiarity with USPTO systems (TEAS, TSDR, Patent Center, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience with remote work tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, Trello, or similar)
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal administrative experience preferred
• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues effectively.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated clerical experience with data entry capabilities and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.

Pay: $53,053.17 - $63,891.99 per year
