HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Clinical Quality Analyst to fill an opening with a leading healthcare organization in a telecommute position.
Daily Responsibilities for the HEDIS Abstractor/Overreader:
• Perform provider and practitioner medical record reviews to verify clinical data elements for HEDIS and HEDIS-like measures abstracted by vendor.
• Conduct abstraction and overread of internal and/or vendor abstracted medical records to mitigate risk during Medical Record Review Validation (MRRV).
• Maintain HIPAA standards and confidentiality of protected health information at all times.
• Communicate questions or concerns to the assigned Pod Manager or Specialist in a timely manner.
• Attend team meetings to provide feedback and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Successfully complete HEDIS technical specification and software training with a passing score of 90% or higher.
• Commit to the full January–May assignment with minimal absences.
• Shift/Remote: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm in your time zone.
• Training: 2 weeks, 8:00am–5:00pm EST.
Required Qualifications for the HEDIS Abstractor/Overreader
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3+ years of HEDIS, medical record review, or MRRV experience (abstraction and/or overread strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated proficiency with measures such as BPD, CBP, COA, GSD, DVSCH, LSC, PPC, PDS, PSS, TRC, and WCC (must be listed on resume).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint); ability to use Excel for filtering and sorting data.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong proofreading, time management, and communication skills.
• Must be self-directed, technically savvy, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications for the HEDIS Abstractor/Overreader
• RN, LPN, or LVN licensure (preferred, not required).
• Abstraction and overread experience, managed care background.
• Adaptability, critical thinking, and coachability in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details:
$40.00 to $42.00 per hour
