About the Role: Data Scientist for AI and ML Model Development

This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the blithequark family from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the creation, establishment, and support of data analysis and ML models that power our attractions and deliver exceptional guest experiences. With a focus on innovation and a passion for customer service, you'll work closely with internal partners to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and create associations with colleagues, providing thought leadership and driving initiatives to completion effectively and efficiently.
  • Engage in research and collaborate with colleagues to drive ML strategies and identify areas where business problems can be solved innovatively by applying ML.
  • Lead and work with various specialists and data scientists to implement and scale ML solutions that create enchanting experiences for our guests and push the limits of operational goals.
  • Drive innovation, proofs of concept, technology cash drives, and customer interactions that lead to expanding top-tier AI platforms.
  • Manage operational support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team.
  • Develop standard processes used in daily operations and collaborate with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space.
  • Productionize ML algorithms in predictive analytics, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, etc., and evaluate their performance on real-world datasets.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve goals in improving system performance and coordinate with existing software practices that produce viable code.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of mastery in Python and predictive modeling experiences, such as TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, LightGBM, MXNet, etc.
  • 2+ years of expert-level experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
  • Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Object-Oriented Programming Design Patterns.
  • Expert-level experience in structured and unstructured data and SQL relational and non-relational databases.
  • 2+ years of experience with Workflow or another data workflow management instrument.
  • Experience with amendment control programming, like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and the expected outcome, strong relational abilities, and a commitment to completing responsibilities.
  • Solid systems integration architecture abilities, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, having experience in the following areas can be a significant plus:

  • Docker
  • Control frameworks
  • Kubernetes
  • Cloud arrangements in GCP or another cloud stage
  • Atlassian Instruments like Jira and Confluence
  • Agile advancement techniques
  • Automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development
  • Data representation and data monitoring instruments (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau)
  • Sound analysis
  • Text analysis

Education and Background

A Master's degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical background is required. A Ph.D. in these fields is highly preferred.
