We invite you to be a part of our dynamic team as a Virtual Customer Care Representative, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing homes under warranty in assigned communities. Your primary focus will be on promoting, facilitating, and fostering positive working relationships with our valued customers and trade partners. This is an onsite position located in Chantilly, VA, offering a unique blend of customer service, project management, and community development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Promote, facilitate, and foster positive working relationships with blithequark customers and trade partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion when interacting with homeowners and trade partners, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage daily trade partner activities in accordance with job schedules and business partner scopes of work, ensuring that all customer relations aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Approve trade partner invoices upon satisfactory completion of jobs, not exceeding $1,250, to maintain fiscal responsibility and adherence to company policies.
  • Proactively address and remedy any trade partner scheduling, communication, or payment-related issues to prevent delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of manufacturer recommendations for the use and application of their products, ensuring compliance and quality in our homebuilding processes.
  • Conduct pre-closing meetings, demonstrations, celebrations, and 30-day post-close visits to ensure customer satisfaction and provide exceptional service.
  • Review and certify the completion of each home within your community, ensuring that our high standards of quality are met.
  • Manage, supervise, and direct all aspects of customer relations for your assigned community, including field meetings with trade partners, construction staff, and sales staff as needed.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the community and surrounding area, including HOA fees and rules, schools, restaurants, shopping, and other relevant information to provide valuable insights to our customers.
  • Supervise, review, and resolve the condition of your community, encompassing entry features, road and pond maintenance, common areas, model centers, and signage to ensure a well-maintained and appealing environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in directing, coordinating, and supervising work, particularly in a customer-facing role within the homebuilding industry.
  • A valid Driver's License with a good driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and document management, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office products, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
