Job Overview

This role is part of the NAOU Sales Organization at blithequark and requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team. As a Customer Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex accounts, identifying opportunities, and developing strategic plans to drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete proactive customer contacts via telephone to key decision-makers to build relationships and gain support and commitment to execute initiatives and sales programs.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to monitor relationships, reaffirm strategies, steward the business, create operational and personal value for the customer.
  • Identify opportunities consistent with the objectives, priorities, and strategies of assigned customers through discovery, analysis, and conversations with customers.
  • Coordinate implementation of agreed-upon activities, such as mechanical service, installation, business-building initiatives, and distribution activities, to execute plans.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and renegotiations with customers and the blithequark system to formalize agreements.
  • Manage customer marketing reimbursements and local store funding programs to drive business results.
  • Accurately capture customer interactions through current CRM systems.
  • Manage individual performance to ensure effective and efficient customer contacts and successfully sell sales initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to the Customer Development Leadership Team on potential opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
  • Develop and ensure execution against an Individual Development Plan to ensure personal development and career growth within blithequark.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in sales, customer service, and account management. The following requirements and qualifications are essential:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1+ years of frontline sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in effectively communicating with and influencing customers.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and provide viable solutions based on customer and company needs.
  • Proven ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective collaborating skills.
  • Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation with customers to uncover opportunities and solutions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time, establish priorities, and accomplish objectives.

Compensation and Benefits

At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that recognizes and rewards individual and team performance. The pay range for this role is $81,800 - $100,900, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
