About the Role: Pre-Licensed Insurance Agent and Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Licensed Insurance Agent and Customer Service Representative to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Pre-Licensed Representative, you will utilize excellent decision-making skills and innovation to resolve complex consumer issues and respond to concerns while adhering to company guidelines. This role involves addressing challenging consumer issues in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex consumer issues and provide expert advice to first-level representatives, ensuring efficient and effective issue resolution.
  • Assist policyholders with billing questions and concerns, offering personalized support and guidance.
  • Provide support for any requested policy changes, ensuring seamless and accurate processing.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Over 18 years of age, with a High School Graduate or GED certificate.
  • Must be located in South Carolina, with a valid work permit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Logical problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and software applications.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute, with high accuracy and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Call Center experience preferred (6 months or more), with a strong understanding of call center operations and customer service principles.
  • Familiarity with insurance products and services, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and guidelines.
