About the Role

As an Account Strategist at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics. You'll work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard. Your primary objective will be to plan for and achieve growth goals by presenting Blithequark's advertising products and solutions that align with client marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Blithequark's advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing goals.
  • Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Blithequark's advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing goals.
  • Provide Blithequark-caliber client service, research, and market analysis to anticipate client needs and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business.
  • Set the vision and strategy for how clients' advertising can reach thousands of users, and work collaboratively with them to achieve their marketing objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, and/or clients.
  • Expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Blithequark Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
