About the Role: Customer Support Associate

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Associate. In this role, you will serve as an expert resource for Blithequark end users, providing top-notch support across multiple channels. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that user inquiries and issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Customer Inquiries: Handle incoming customer support requests across various channels, including phone, voicemail, in-app and web messaging, email, and social media. Ensure that user needs are met, and issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage Operational Functions: Oversee ID verifications, ACH requests, chargebacks, and other day-to-day operational tasks. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in managing these responsibilities.
  • Communicate Effectively: Engage with end users via multiple communication channels, providing clear and concise information to ensure positive customer experiences. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will be crucial in resolving customer issues.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams and External Partners: Work closely with internal functions and external third parties to resolve complex issues. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively will be vital in achieving this goal.
  • Build Product Knowledge: Continuously develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of Blithequark's products and services. This will enable you to provide accurate and helpful information to customers, enhancing their overall experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior B2C High-Volume Support Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume customer support environment, preferably in a B2C setting.
  • Proficiency with CS Platforms: Experience with customer support platforms such as Helpshift or Zendesk. Familiarity with other CS tools is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers across multiple channels.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish is required. If you're proficient in other languages, that's a bonus!
  • Experience with Social Media and Payment Processing: Familiarity with social media channels, app store reviews, and payment processing systems, including dispute resolution (ACH, credit cards, chargebacks, etc.).
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours, including evenings and overnights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Lottery or Gaming Industry: Previous experience in the lottery or gaming industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Technology: Experience with mobile technology, including mobile apps and platforms.
