About the Role: Bilingual Contract Customer Service Representative

We're seeking a dedicated Bilingual Contract Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll engage with blithequark members, helping them navigate the healthcare system, understand their benefits, and get their eligible claims paid. As the voice of blithequark, you'll be the face of our member services team, providing support via live chat and email. Your passion for helping others, combined with your proactive problem-solving skills, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to our members through chat and email, offering education and guidance to help them understand and utilize their benefits.
  • Follow best practices for handling member inquiries and suggest process improvements as needed.
  • Manage and organize your workload using blithequark's platform and tools, including Zendesk and G Suite.
  • Triage and escalate complex and urgent member care needs.
  • Maintain a detail-oriented working knowledge of employer health benefits and insurance.
  • Relay member feedback to leadership teams to improve blithequark's solution.

Candidate Profile: The Ideal blithequark Team Member

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A passion for helping others, with the ability to think creatively and empathetically.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, with a proven track record of staying calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • A high level of process orientation, digital organization, and resourcefulness.
  • A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment, with comfort in some ambiguity.
  • Enthusiasm for being part of a mission to improve the healthcare system.
  • A quiet, distraction-free work environment with a reliable internet connection (hardwired connection strongly preferred).
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
