By developing and productizing B2B data initiatives, we empower suppliers and vendors to make quicker, more informed decisions. As a Data Analyst II, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's driving this transformation, working on projects that span data productization from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and product partners to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, using data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to provide insights that go beyond the numbers.
  • Develop and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product initiatives and special business challenges.
  • Identify new levers to improve key financial data insights, understanding the underlying drivers for changes in metrics.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis.
  • Work closely with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process the right data from various sources.
  • Communicate data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, building strong functional relationships.

Essential Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong exploratory data analysis skills and the ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations and solutions.
  • Experience with languages used to manipulate data and derive insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.).
  • Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
  • Experience with data quality tools like Google DataPlex (Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server).
  • Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca.
  • Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines and working with job scheduling frameworks.
  • Experience with handling complex data on cloud platforms (ideally Google Bigquery and Hive).
  • A fundamental understanding of statistics and machine learning models.
  • Convincing, engaging oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong functional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

  • A Graduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in data science, data analysis, statistics, or a related field.
  • Related industry experience (e.g., retail, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce).
  • Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Flash, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau).
