About the Role
We are looking for a talented and compassionate Customer Service Representative who will apply the latest customer service techniques and learn our account management systems to help improve the customer experience during challenging times. This part-time position offers flexibility, working approximately 3-29 hours per week, with various shift options to choose from, all in the comfort of your own home office.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries
 - Offering empathy and support to customers during the claim process
 - Collecting and documenting claim details accurately
 - Identifying and resolving customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions
 - Utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries
 - Demonstrating punctuality and reliability, with the ability to work extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations
 - Adhering to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage
 - Embodying blithequark's core values, including customer-first, self-motivation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
 
Required Skills and Abilities
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong language skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence
 - Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
 - Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute
 
Education and Experience
We require a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), and prefer 1-2 years of quality assurance experience.
Network Requirements
To work from home, you will need to meet the following network requirements:
- A reliable internet connection, with a speed test result from www.speedtest.net
 - An Ethernet connection is not required but strongly recommended
 - A private network, as you will not be allowed to work in public locations
 - No VPNs are allowed, as logins must happen in the US
