Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information and assistance with Medicaid eligibility, Qualified Health Plans, and other services related to the Maryland Health Connection.
  • Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other State systems to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and regulations related to healthcare enrollment and Medicaid.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be a resident of the state of Maryland.
  • Call Center experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • Ability to use a personal computer with at least an i5 processor or higher.
  • High-speed internet connection is essential.
  • Available for a QC Interview with Client week of Sept 16-20th and be able to attend Real Job Preview on 9/27.
  • Pass a State Policy Exam with 80% or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and eligibility and enrollment portals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes:

  • Expected hours: No less than 40 per week.

Training Hours:

  • 9:00 am-5:30 pm EST.
