Our mission is to create a healthier world, one person at a time. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Advocate at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in building trust with our members and providing them with the support they need to navigate the health care system. You'll be the single point of contact for our members, answering their questions, resolving their issues, and connecting them with the resources they need to stay healthy. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Advocate at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * Listening actively and asking appropriate questions to identify specific questions or issues, and documenting inquiries from members of blithequark's programs regarding medical, vision, dental, pharmacy plan details, plan/program eligibility, and medical claims. * Using multiple databases, tools, and partnerships to refer and enroll members to appropriate internal specialists and programs based on their needs. * Interpreting and translating clinical/medical terminology and coding to assist members with managing cost using simple language. * Adapting to communicated changes in process, policy, and guidelines quickly at site and enterprise level. * Educating members about the fundamentals of health care benefits and plans. * Assisting members to maximize use of community services, support programs, and resources available. * Meeting performance goals established for the position in efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, schedule adherence, and attendance. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment. * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Ability to work Monday - Friday during our normal business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm and 12:30pm - 9:00pm CST.
