Contracts Administrator (Remote)
                                Job Description & Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities
• Administer, negotiate, and manage international government and commercial contracts from proposal development through contract close-out, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations (FAR, DFAR), and internal policies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, guiding contract requirements, terms, and conditions to internal teams, including program managers, sales, finance, legal, and procurement
• Manage Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and task orders, ensuring all obligations, funding limits, and reporting requirements are documented, monitored, and communicated
• Maintain tracking systems for contract obligations, deliverables, mods, funding status, contract modifications, and period-of-performance details; escalate issues and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., finance, pricing, capture, legal, operations) to ensure alignment of contract execution strategies and compliance with all contract terms
• Support the development of compliant cost proposals, including pricing strategy, labor categorizations, and risk analysis for various contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M)
• Monitor contract funding status, initiate incremental funding actions, and prepare required notifications following contract clauses
• Review and approve prime contract invoices for accuracy and compliance, coordinating with subcontract administrators to ensure proper cost flow and documentation
• Participate in internal audits, customer reviews, and external assessments to demonstrate contract compliance and readiness
• Proactively identify and escalate contract risks and issues, working with legal and senior management to develop mitigation strategies
• Stay up to date on evolving federal acquisition regulations and advise internal teams on changes impacting contract execution
Job Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or in roles that required regular engagement with contract terms, compliance, or customer agreements in a government or commercial setting.
• Prior experience in international government contracting or the defense industry is preferred.
• Experience with responding to RFx and possess knowledge of FAR, DFAR
• Understanding export controls (ITAR/EAR) and global compliance frameworks
• Experience supporting international Program, sales, or BD teams preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in remote or cross-functional settings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Must be available to travel 10-15% of the time
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
The pay for this role can vary from $69,865 to $110,000 a year based on the selected individual's education and experience.
