Who You Are: A Customer-Centric Leader with a Passion for Success

As a Customer Success Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for driving the success of mid-market customers (businesses with 250-1000 employees) in your portfolio. You're passionate about helping customers transform and optimize their experiences, and you'll bring that expertise to our team. You're a strategic thinker, an independent decision-maker, and a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, low-ego environment.

Key Responsibilities: Driving Customer Success and Business Growth

  • Develop and drive Customer Success Programs for your portfolio of customers, focusing on retention and growth.
  • Provide overall value and relationship management to your portfolio of customers, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
  • Understand the broader business perspective and make informed decisions to drive customer success.
  • Surface and share insightful analyses and recommendations across the Customer Success team and product team.
  • Offer strategic guidance to help customers grow and align blithequark with their business priorities.
  • Conduct customer health-checks, review customer health scores, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor adoption, maturity, and growth trends to inform customer and business strategy.
  • Manage renewals, identify new expansion opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with CSM peers, cross-functional teams, and senior leaders to ensure customer success.
  • Make recommendations and influence important operating decisions for the broader team.
  • Streamline work, innovate key processes, and leverage technology to drive efficiency.
  • Meet and exceed churn and revenue goals, measured by renewal and retention rates, new sale leads, referenceable customers, and NPS.

What We Require: Experience, Skills, and Competencies

To succeed as a Customer Success Manager at blithequark, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience managing complex enterprise and mid-market accounts, preferably in a Security, SaaS, or MSP-based organization.
  • Experience managing around 50 mid-market accounts and negotiating renewals.
  • A strong understanding of SaaS business models and their relationship to Customer Success.
  • Experience at a security or technology company, or relevant consultancy.
  • The ability to learn quickly, articulate blithequark's value proposition, and persuade client senior executive teams.
  • Patience, positivity, and a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (post-COVID).
