We're now seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Representative to join our team in a full-time remote capacity.
About the Role
As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our customer service and patient enrollment processes. You will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving data entry-related exceptions, and providing support to pharmacists and other stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize blithequark's data entry guidelines and processes to enroll new patients by entering information into the appropriate system.
 - Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
 - Research and resolve missing prescription data, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
 - Resolve all data entry-related exceptions, and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
 - Handle correspondence with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve third-party oddballs.
 - Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
 - Obtain and maintain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment.
 
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
 - Basic level PC skills, including startup and shutdown procedures, using the mouse, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online.
 - Basic web browsing skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
 - Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
 - Effective written and verbal communication skills.
 - 18 years old or older.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmacy specialist experience in a retail or call center environment.
 - A minimum of 1.5 years as a pharmacy specialist with certification/registration by the State Board for Pharmacy or a widely recognized certification agency.
 - Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
 - Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
 - Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
