About the Role

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our front-end pharmacy technician team and driving excellence in customer service, data entry, and processing support tasks. You'll work closely with senior technicians to coordinate daily production, troubleshoot front-end processes, and partner with pharmacy leaders on team training plans. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the front-end pharmacy technician team to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborate with field training teams as needed.
  • Assist in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our long-term care, assisted living, and chronic care customers.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, as required by state law.
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience can give you a competitive edge:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
  • PTCB National Certification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is between $18.50 and $34.60 per hour, depending on factors such as location and experience.
